Skills Training
Early Childhood Development Training.
Most of the staff at Mustadafin have received all or part of their training trough the organization, working with grassroots. The foundation hosts up to 200 teachers each month in workshops and also provides general training and workshops for 100 other staff members.
Sewing for HIV/Aids patients
2008 saw a revival of Mustadafin’s popular sewing project at our HIV/Aids clinic in Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain. This project has been most successful in job-creation and sustainability.
Adult-literacy programmes
Mustadafin conducts literacy classes for men and women who are illiterate at each of its centres in the townships.
Beading and candle-making project
Mustadafin ladies are always proud of their beaded jewellery and beautiful candle artwork. Mustadafin’s centre in Montrose Park is especially skilled at this.
